In a paper recently published in the highly-regarded research journal Cell, a Princeton team, led by Clifford Brangwynne and including Jared Toettcher, demonstrated the use of a new method, termed “OptoDroplet”, to induce both reversible and irreversible protein phase transitions within cells.
Scientists at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in collaboration with Prof. Ilhan Aksay at Princeton University have shown that single-stranded DNA can be promptly adsorbed onto functionalized graphene via hydrophobic and π-stacking interactions.
