Shvartsman Receives Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award

Stas Shvartsman, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering and a member of the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, is the recipient of a 2004 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award. This prestigious award, which provides $60,000 in unrestricted suppport of a faculty member's research program, recognizes outstanding faculty in the early stages of their career. Shvartsman is the only Chemical Engineer among this year's 13 recipients.
