Professor James Wei was honored by the Purdue University's Department of Chemical Engineering as a Kelly Lecturer on April 1-2, 2005 in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Kelly Lectures, and the recent opening of the addition to Forney Hall. Other lecturers at this occasion were Frank S. Bates, University of Minnesota; Alexis T. Bell, University of California, Berkeley; Ignacio E. Grossmann, Carnegie Mellon University; and Michael L. Shuller, Cornell University.
